Reel 2 ¿?

Hi. I play this reel for a long time but I do not know its name. Does anyone know it? Thank you

Re: Reel 2 ¿?

This is a version of "The Red Fox", a Robert Mathieson GHB tune, normally written in A. It’s classed as a hornpipe which means for everyone else it’s played like a reel. We play this at our local session in the Scottish Borders. There should, I think, be some variations second time through the B part.

Reel 2 ¿?, X:2

The more usual setting of The Red Fox.

Re: The Red Fox

The 1st and 5th bars seem to be a tone too low Donald.

Re: The Red Fox

Thank you very much for the comments, DonaldK and Bogman.
I had been searching for the name of this song for a long time.
Regards!

Re: The Red Fox

Thanks, Bogman. That’s what happens when you transcribe stuff lying in bed in the early morning with a cup of tea!
