Eimear’s Shuffle

Third jig from set on Lunasa album Cas and Raven’s Rock album. Probably a lot easier to play transposed down to Dmix. On fiddle it then works in either upper or lower octave. The 6th bar of B section should go - efg abc’ but I changed to make it more playable.

Re: Eimear’s Shuffle

I think the d natural in bar 3 of section B should be d sharp. As it’s the only d in the tune, it’s debatable as to whether it’s written in Emix with an accidental or actually in Emaj (it feels like Emaj to me).

Re: Eimear’s Shuffle

Dom, I won’t dispute what you hear but I heard that as a dnat. Also tunes that avoid the 7th tend to have a Mixolydian feel and finally Emix is more common than Emaj for trad tunes.

Re: Eimear’s Shuffle

I stand corrected Dom and have changed to Emaj
