Tommy Reck’s

Apologies if this jig is on thesession under some other title. The source of this name for this tune is ‘Champions of Ireland - Uilleann Pipes’ by Con Durham, see
https://thesession.org/recordings/5880
It is listed there (second tune in track 3, 1:30 to 2:20) as Tommy Recks (sic), but presumably should be Tommy Reck’s, unless it might be better known as something else altogether (quite possible given the iffy track record of the CD’s publisher with tune titles).
The tune is not the Tommy Reck’s jig, aka Paddy Whack, at
https://thesession.org/tunes/317
The Na Píobairí Uilleann website has a page about Tommy Reck at
http://pipers.ie/about/patrons/tommy-reck/
but no specifics about tunes which bear his name. Maybe the sources given on the page would help?

Re: Tommy Reck’s

Yup, many thanks, closest here seems to be X:8 of the Blackthorn Stick settings at tunes/752.

And, yes again, Norbeck setting of The Maid at the Well also looks close.
