Seán Parnell’s reel

I transcribed this reel from the playing of the late Donegal fiddler James Byrne on “The Road to Glenlough”. It was also played by brothers Franceie and Mickey Byrne. I have no idea whence it comes otherwise. It’s a nice little reel, though, and well-suited for fiddling in octaves. Some such tunes, particularly those in G, are more commonly played in D by solo fiddlers; I have not heard such a version of this tune.
