Arrochar Bridge

Another reel from Kyle and Lucy MacNeil of the Barra MacNeils, transcribed from the album Atlantic Fiddles (1994). The tune can be found in the book Fiddle Music of Prince Edward Island (1996, as played by PEI fiddler Allan MacDonald) and - untitled - in Traditional Celtic Violin Music of Cape Breton (1996, as played by CB fiddle Carl MacKenzie). Although it has a Scots title, I haven’t found a tune by that name, although there are marked similarities to another reel, “The Bridge of Bamore”.
