Dearne Valley

I learned this from ’The Wishing Tree’ by John Doyle, John McCusker and Michael McGoldrick – a much listened-to album. The Dearne Valley reel is the third tune in the opening track and was composed by Michael McGoldrick. On the recording, it’s played in the key of ‘A’ but I’ve written it out here in the more whistle-friendly key of ’G’.
