I actually find the first version (G Harmonic Minor? I’m a flute player, not a chordy person, so forgive me If I have this wrong…) easier on my D keyed flute. RH BFlat key and C thumb hole.

And I hear the following at the end of lines 2 and 4: | ^FGA^F G4 || instead of |^FGAG G4 ||

I should probably give this a go on the new Schäferpfeife I am trying out too.
