Benbulben’s Shadow reel

Lovely tune from Steph’s new album. She plays plenty of variations, but I’ve transcribed the bare-bones. B part 6th bar is how I think she really plays it, seemed tricky at first, but makes sense and she plays it repetitively, so it seems not to be just a variation.

beautiful. who is the composer?

Steph Geremia : “I composed this tune in memory of my early days when I first moved to Sligo, charmed by the mountains, modes and music of North Connaught and having come directly from spending time in India studying the Bonsuri , had some rather exotic melodies swirling through my head!”
