This tune, which I believe Damien Connolly wrote for his wife 10 - 15 years ago, caught my ear when I was listening to the Téada album Ceol & Cuimhne. I play it on whistle, which leaves out the richness of the chords but the melody stands alone quite well. This is my first time to add a tune and I owe my daughter Faith a great deal of thanks for her patience in helping me. I have left out most of the slides and slurs for simplicity (and because I am a tad lazy!)
Re: Sally Gally
McGovern plays it after Easter Snow, to great effect.
