It’s basically the same except I don’t hang on to the high B in the 4th bar of the B part. That changes the chord structure (more Gish than D), which is pretty much the only difference between the settings.

Taken from ‘A Fine Selection of Over 200 Irish Traditional Tunes for Sessions’, compiled by David Speers with a Forward by Matt Cranitch. I don’t remember hearing this before but, like many tunes in this book, seems to have fallen out of fashion - but deserving of a dusting down!
