Gian, this tune was actually written by the Ballycastle Fiddler, Frank McCollam, who also wrote ‘The Home Ruler’, in honour of his wife.
He wrote this particular tune, also known as Kate Marie, for his daughter, Catherine, who now lives in Dublin.
