Currie Dance

Hoping to write a jig, I wrote this tune in the 1990s. Turned out a waltz but seems like a hybrid to me. I wrote it for a lad in Glasgow (met in the 1970s at work) and I couldn’t forget him. Words were written for it too but best not go into those … I did my best to make it sound Scottish, hope I’ve succeeded to some degree. (Sad to say I still love him, alas).

Re: Currie Dance

Boo to him, am OK now………..

Currie Dance, X:2

x:2 similar, tune originally written in G major for that girl-chasing P. Currie Don’t like tune as much as I used to, ha ha.

Re: Currie Dance

This really is lousy.

Re: Currie Dance

Would you like to talk about it?

Re: Currie Dance

No, I don’t think it’s worth discussing Nigel! I regret having written this silly tune, I fear.
