April Storm

Composed by Terry Wergeland. The Kitchen Jam Band play it in a set, between The Sailor’s Wife & Jump at the Sun, on their album "Cook’n up a Storm". Lovely bridge tune.

April Storm, X:3

Turns out the B Part of this tune (transposed to Ador) strongly resembles the structure the structure of the A Part of "The Rakes of Kildare".

Here’s a few more variations that work, as well as a few runs. It seems the B Part could be in Ddor, rather than Dmin.

Re: April Storm

Rich plays it closer to X2.

He also throws in a few different variations for the 3rd bar of the B Part. One time it’ll be the whole bar on that starting c-note (so, "c6"), another with "c2 c4", and another with "c2 c3 c" for that 3rd bar.

The 2nd & 6th bars of the A Part might also go as "d2d d2e", instead of "d2d2 de".
