Starts off by sounding like "Babe I’m going to leave you" (USA) but goes off at a tangent. Written out solely from music notation and possibly mistakes made. Not sure where it came from!

Re: 23

Admit to this being my (very first tune, hence name). Without my keyboard I haven’t got it right -always used to play it by ear. I’ve no memory of how it got into my head, just by fiddling round on the piano. I played it to death at home and my Mum got BORED with it.

23, X:2

x:2 in waltz time so time sig 4/4 doesn’t fit. 2nd part tune has strayed a bit, because I forgot how to put in a high C in abc notation. Q. interesting to look back at an old tune and see different ways of scoring it, and whether they work OK.
