A tune I find myself humming a lot – a real toe-tapper! The range of notes strays beyond my whistle so Version 2 shows how I adapt it for playing on the low D.
This is my slightly adapted version to keep all the notes within a two-octave range.
Hi alangraham. Composer? Is this one of your own compositions. If so, beautifully done. Love it.
Bill, wish I could say that this is my composition but that honour goes to Alasdair Fraser. I tend to play it slowly first time through and pick up the tempo after that. For me it works equally well as a slow air or a lively jig.
