I am surprised, in fact, that any tune (dance tune, at least) recorded by Seamus Ennis is not already in the database; it will not surprise me if it is already here under a different name and in a slightly different variant that managed to escape capture by my abc searches.

The tune is pretty common-or-garden sounding - reminds me of several tunes without being any of them. But the turn is the same as that of Ah, Surely https://thesession.org/tunes/577

The version, played as a fling, on the Tap Room Trio album is a load of fun! Much different feel from the Ennis recording.

Thanks - I was trying to think of what tune it sounded like. It’s not identical, though - the phrase endings are different.
