Thanks Gian Marco for this transcription--great tune! Always nice to add another slide to the tunes in the hopper….

This is not the ‘Scully Casey’s’ that appears on Lunasa’s “Merry Sisters of Fate” album. That tune is ‘Palm Sunday’, played really slowly.

This is also known as Thady Casey’s. Thady was Scully’s father, I believe. Scully Casey was the father of Bobby Casey, from The Crosses of Annagh, West Clare, contemporary of Junior Crehan and father of London fiddler, banjo and mandolin player, Sean Casey.

This “Scully Casey’s” can also be found on one of the Chulrua albums, the Junior Crehan album, and the Johnny McCarthy album.

In the A part, Keane really smears into the low F#s from Fnat, and Mr. Casey does the same with the high Fs in the B part in the downhill runs near the end each time.
