I heard this first from American clawhammer banjo player Adam Hurt, which is where I believe Angelina Carberry got it as well. She plays a terrific set that includes this tune on her album Pluckin’ Mad (where she plays it on tenor guitar).
Meant to clarify - the version above is based on Angelina Carberry’s recording, I believe she capos up one fret on her tenor guitar, but I transcribed in A as the closest key.
