Tree In The Wood

Also known as “Crann Ar An Choill” (Irish, meaning “Tree In The Wood”). Originally 9/8 all the way, but I felt it slowed it down. Maybe it’s just me, but I removed 3 eighths of pause in every second bar to keep up the tempo. It gives it a kind of 5/4 time that I like. From a book called “The Irish Song Book”.
