Fiddler's Choice has been added to 2 tunebooks.
This tune was written by Bill Sampson to commemorate Glenora Distillery’s whiskey of the same name, to be played around the world on August 31, 2019, International Night of A Thousand Fiddles. The idea is to set a record of most fiddles played around the world on that night.
I can’t speak for the whiskey as there is no local outlet where I am in California, but if the player is allowed to substitute another reel and still have it count, then substituting another whiskey seems like fair play.
I’m all in.
Whisky, isn’t it?
Whiskey with an “E” in Ireland and Whisky in Scotland
…and in Cape Breton, where the Glenora Distillery is, they spell it whisky.
