St. John’s Reel

From the playing of The Celtic Fiddlers.

Composed by their whistle/flute/bouzouki player, Danny Mills.

Re: St. John’s

X1 is how they play it on the album.

X2 has a few minor variations: rolls vs. no rolls, & a different ending to the B Part. It’s a slightly simplified version of the tune - it’s how I’ll be playing it.

Re: St. John’s

What about when people play it your local session?

Re: St. John’s

If I were in St. John’s, would expect it to be played as X1, with or without the rolls added/removed (the changes from X2), and with the ending from X1.
