Marnix’ Tune

Close to the basic setting from Brisk’s album.

Not sure if this is the proper tune name. The set is called “Marnix’ Tune”, and the other two tunes are already named.

Tricky tune. A bit crooked. Either bars of 7/8 & 5/8 thrown in there, or, a bit syncopated. Two sharps, key signature seems otherwise a bit ambiguous.

Going back into the A-part they start with a high-f, rather than how it’s indicated here.

Seeing the band description on the recording page, and based on the strangeness of the tune structure (in comparison to typical Irish trad.), I’d guess that it has Bulgarian influences, though, I could be mistaken.
