The Sportsman’s Haunt

Appears in the Athole Collection. Anyone know who wrote it?

Re: The Sportsman’s Haunt

It appears to be a traditional melody to which there were Gaelic words about a spot near Loch Ness where "sportsmen" - men who liked to shoot deer - frequented. It’s in Captain Simon Fraser’s collection of 1874 under the title "Am Monadh Liath".

Again, you do not need the first and second endings in the A part.
