Eddie Edmond (not Edmund). He came I believe from the Inverurie area. John Roy Lyall was Eddie’s father-in-law. He played in ‘Lyall’s Syrupy Five’!

I believe the original setting is in Eb.

How nice to be reminded of this tune! Hebbie Grey taught it to me more years ago than I care to think. The original key is indeed Eb.
