It’s by John Morris Rankin. Andrea Beaton plays it in a set on her Cuts album. It sounds to me like she plays it through once with a third part that is a variation of the first part.

I believe the tune is called The Way to Mull River. The Bash is the name of the medley on Fiddler’s Friend album.
