This tune was composed by Llewelyn Williams, a Welsh musician of the early 19c. I find it goes well preceding the Belfast Hornpipe, which, in some respects, seems to have a similar feel.
The version here posted differs slightly from the original in that the 3rd bar of part B of the original reads Bdgb c’abg. For information about playing those high c’s on the fiddle see https://thesession.org/discussions/1883
This is a nice tune, altho’ I would have liked both parts to end uniformly, perhaps with the last couple of bars of the B-part which is a nicer turn than the version in the A-part.

Re alternative title, isn’t the Boar’s Head carol a different tune? I think the carol tune’s older than this one.
