Broken Sword

From the playing of Bob McQuillen, April Limber, and Peter Colby. Composed by Bob in 1977.

One of Bob’s former students made several videos of Bob’s tunes, from Bob’s Tune/Note Book #3. The dots from Bob’s original version of the tune differs a bit from how he plays it on Farewell To The Hollow, which is the setting notated in X1.

Bob’s note about the tune:
"For Larry Jennings and Co., whose marvelous sword dance at the New England Folk Festival inspired this tune."
