Maggie’s

Not sure of the origin of this one but I got it from a record by the Donald Morrison Trio from Forfar.

Re: Maggie’s

This was composed by piano accordionist Alan Morrison who, along with his son Brian, are the "Morrison" in the Donald Morrison Trio, with fiddler Donald Webster completing the name and the threesome. Both Alan Morrison and Donald Webster were in the Tayside police, based in Forfar.

Re: Maggie’s

Alan Morrison, sadly, passed away December 17th 2016. He also used to duet with Angus Reel & Strathspey fiddler and former Forfar Procurator Fiscal Sandy Ingram.
