The First Flight Of Geese

I suspect this tune was written by the great American citternist Gerard Trimble. It bears his trademark intricacy and delicacy. Beautifully constructed tune, I reckon

Re: The First Flight Of Geese

One more thing: on the repeat of the B part, the 5th bar is varied thusly:
| ef (3gfe (3aba eb |. Nice, that.

Re: The First Flight Of Geese

Quite a complex piece for an elderly fiddler (wi arthritis) to play. But it is indeed a lovely tune. (Donkeys years since I’ve been to Dublin, back in the 20th C I was hitch hiking with a girl to Galway and I recall her sweeping a bottle of milk from a doorstep to sustain us on the journey (nice IRISH milk)). Cheers.

Gerald, not Gerard

Sorry, Mr Trimble
