Re: This Is How My Joyous Life’s Begun

Can you give us a bit more info about this tune? It’s not linking to any recordings: where’s it from?

Re: This Is How My Joyous Life’s Begun

This is a tune composed by myself for (or about) my friend fellow-musician. She is a great classical flautist who plays the irish flute too. Once we went in a street after a session and she told me one episode of her life.
"I was rehearsing (on boehm flute) to an exam for my music college in its hall, all optimistic. But a professor came out from a door and passed by saying: "Oh, it is you who’s hissing here." It’s ruined nearly all my optimism and mood then. This is how my joyous life’s begun."
Having heard that I said - oh, that’s a very good name for a tune!
So the tune is about that. I find this long a’s and the f-nat necessary for the proper feeling of the tune but if you want it symmetric you may play it without these extra half bars.
I wrote another tune for this person, see it here, it is called The Drama Queen:

Coding error, not enough in bars 19 and 29.

No coding errors there, this is how it supposed to be, these are two dotted quivers, I just don’t know how to write 3/8 time signatures in these two extra bars.
Read my long comment it makes it clear.
