Henrik Norbeck’s version
The above transcription is from the Henrik Norbeck collection and differs only in a few notes from the version submitted.
Personally, I prefer Tanya’s version as it is closer to what Paddy O’Brien actually wrote.
Paddy O’Brien’s daughter, Eileen O’Brien Minogue has produced a book of Paddy’s compositions entitled "The Compositions of Paddy O’Brien" published 1992 by J.D.C Publications Ltd.,

There are many excellent tunes in it. I don’t believe Paddy composed a bad one.

God I love this tunes, it is dead set one of my favourites and Paddy O’brien wrote some awesome tunes. Now this is most definately a classy tune.
He named Hanley’s tweed after he won a "world" ceili band competition with the Ormond Ceili Band, the prize? Rolls of tweed from Hanley’s!
