The Races At Ballyhooley

Found this tune while searching for another on youtube . You will find it as "Peter Carbury and Padraig McGovern live" . They play it in Bflat . I have done my best to transpose it to G but may not have got all the little ornamentations Peter put in. There are other notations on the net and Liam O Connor plays fiddle , which differs slightly phrasing. Hope I got it fairly right and comments /corrections welcome.

Re: The Races At Ballyhooley

Love this tune - Liam O’Connor did indeed record it with uilleann piper Sean McKeon on their CD "Dublin Made Me", but they play it a half octave up, I think. They titled it as "The Races Of Ballyhouley", so I’ve added it as an alternative title.

Did you mean A,/B,/C/D/ C/B,/A,/G,/ in the first bar?
