Six comments

The Bell Of Ardclach

Calum Stewart’s tune from Tales from the North. He plays it in a Bb whistle. I have added the notation in Bb and G.

Re: The Bell Of Ardclach

I think that he plays it in a Eb whistle instead, since it is not possible to go down to A on the lower octave on the Bb whistle…

Re: The Bell Of Ardclach

Thank you for the transcription - beautiful tune! Two comments:
* I think, Calum Stewart uses a F-Whistle (fine to play in “G-Major”, as you wrote in down - in “real” Bb-Major)
* 6th-Bar .. | G3A | F2 GA instead of .. |G3B |F2 GA

There is a nice live performance of this song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lt1hdnLn4k

It has the benefit of being in Gmaj, so it’s easy to play along with a high or low D whistle. Here’s a transcription of the A/B parts from that recording:

Note: Calum adds more ornamentation when coming back to the B part the second time
