The Auld Maid Of Fife has been added to 4 tunebooks.
From The Caledonian Pocket Companion by James Oswald, ca. 1747.
I chose the jig category for the metre, but given the tempo indication "Slow" (which is from the source), this tune is obviously not meant to be played as a jig. Auld maids like to take their time - 80 bpm feels good to me.
The trills are from the source. The only thing I changed is the key signature, the source is notated in A minor with an F# accidental in bar 6, which amounts to A dorian.
