I know this is a reel but it seems easy enough to play as a hornpipe. I wonder if it would go with "Off to California"/
It does pair nicely with Off to California. One of my groups has played the two together for years now.
Hi,
As a Northumbrian pipe player, I think this is a great tune and would work both as a reel and a hornpipe. To fit the standard pipe scale, it also works well with the 1st time bar replaced with a high C, B, A, G, quavers and finishing with the E minim, and then in the 2nd time bar, replacing these notes with E, D, E or F quavers, E crotchet and then the ending D.
Sorry, I can’t do ABC so I hope this makes sense.
