Joe Derrane’s

This is a nice barndance composed by the fiddler James Kelly. You can find it in his tunebook "101 Traditional Irish Dance Tunes".

The tune is played by the band Téada on their album Ainneoin na stoirme / In spite of the storm. On track 8 it follows the slow reel "Gone for his tea". "Joe Derrane’s" goes then into another barndance called "All about weaving".

The tune is inspired by the music of Irish-American accordion legend Joe Derrane.
