It’s also known as Little Donald in the Pigpen, and can be heard on "Fair Thee Well, Love," by The Rankin Family (later The Rankins) of Cape Breton Island. It’s part of "Fiddle Medley" (Lime Hill / Keep the Country Bonnie Lassie / Jack Daniel’s Reel / Little Donald in the Pig Pen).
I also found a reference for "Little Donald in the Pig Pen" in "The Glenmorangie Collection of Bagpipe Music," by James A. Mackay, listed for twelve pounds at http://www.scotbagpipes.com/acatalog/Bagpipe_Music_Books.html.
I know this as Little Donald of The Pigpen. Really great tune but the key is actually Amix not D.
This tune deserves a second part! Perhaps something with a g# / that extends beyond the ‘kilted down’ range of the scottish pipe..
