Mad Turk

I’ve just encountered some problems submitting this tune… as the first three bars are in 6/4 time, the next two are in 8/4 - and the last half of the tune is in 4/4. But this site insists on submitting a time signature at the start. And the first half is in G but with a Bflat, and the second half is in D - but’s it’s all kinda minor - so not sure what to do about that either.
So many apologies if it turns into a mess. But at least I tried πŸ™‚

…so to clarify, it’s not in 6/8 and it’s not a jig either. But if you start from the composer, C McKerron then the rest is correct.
That’ll teach me to be adventurous.

I also found I could overcome the problem of changing time signatures by embedding the meter in the ABC text.. as in [M:13/8]. See Baker’s Dozen
What I couldn’t solve was the description of dance type and mode, so what is a Krivo Horo in Phrygian dominaht is filed as a Barn Dance in CMajor. Oh well. I like the Mad Turk. Seems to be some sort of fusion of traditions. What’s it written for? Any story behind it?
