The Glenlara

This fine unusual polka was recorded by Pat Slattery in the mid seventies from Jer Dan McAuliffe, or Jer Mac as Pat knew him. We called it the Glenlara after his townland in West Cork.
Pat’s recordings are available to hear as they have been uploaded by PJ Teahan onto the Scartaglin World Fiddle Day website.

Re: The Glenlara

Has a Newfoundland single/polka sort of feeling to it.
