6/4!!! Wow!! I love this tune!! First time I see a tune in that time signature, very nice!

I was just looking for something in that rhythm the other day. And yes, I can see now that the feeling of this rhythm has nothing to do with a reel, therefore I don’t agree much with the music scores that the French Canadians do with the reels that have irregular metrics when they use single bars in 6/4. They do that just to leave in there the leftovers that don’t fit in the 4/4 bars. They could just use 2/4 in those cases and that would also fit with the foot tapping they always do.

It would be nice to get the music score of the jig at the end of this track. If I’m not mistaken, It is the same tune as the 6/4 but in jig. With that we could try to see what the composer did with the melody to change the rhythm.
