Gian Marco: You would likely have to play this up a 4th as I am not convinced that a flute can play the low c-sharp. Also, this could well be a Charlie Lennon tune.

CD notes to Track #1 from “Ceol Sidhe” :
“This first jig came from Scotland early in 1940, I learned it from my mother but had difficulty in pairing it with one of our own double jigs because of the style, and so eventually rather than discard it, I composed one that I thought suited the rhythm of ”Billy Rushe’s".
So nothing at all to do with Charlie Lennon.
