Transcribed from Eddie Moloney - Master Musician disc 2, track 1. It’s labelled Tommy Whelan’s No. 1, but on disc 1 is a different tune labelled the same thing. Maybe this is Tommy Whelan’s No 10 instead, but 1(b) works for me.
Eddie Moloney shifts octaves a lot, so the low D in the first bar for instance is usually up the octave, and the Es or es in the second and fifth bars are sometimes up and sometimes down the octave. I indicated with rests a few spots he breathes, but these change, too.
