Lord Aboyne’s Welcome Or Cumbernauld House

Heard on You Tube as a piece of Scottish Baroque.

The composer Francesco Barsanti arranged many of the most beautiful of the 17th century Scottish fiddle tunes and printed them in Edinburgh in 1742. The tune was printed with the title "Cumernad [Cumbernauld] House" in 1760 in James Oswald’s Caledonian Pocket Companion.
