This is one from O’Neill’s Music Of Ireland (#1377)
An almost identical setting is in Ryan’s Mammoth Collection (1883) under the title "Come, Till the Bottle-House".
In Music of Ireland (1903), O’Neill remarks, "Collected by Mrs Cantwell". This is a woman he referred to as "the widow Cantwell" whose husband played flute. She possessed a large book of music manuscripts, but O’Neill was warned that she would never let it out of her sight. He dressed up in his full Captain’s uniform and visited her, and was given permission to borrow the book so that Sgt James O’Neill could copy it.
I suppose the tune was contained in that volume.
