Seamus Thompson’s #1

I heard this tune on the Bridge Ceili Band CD ‘Sparks on Flags’.
It’s in the first set on this CD and they called it ‘Finbarr Dwyer’s’ .
The set is Lord McDonald, The Holly Bush and then this tune here.

I later learnt that this tune was composed by Seamus Thompson and the Bridge Ceili Band kindly sent me the notes of this tune when I emailed them about it.

They play the tune once in F and then in G.
They lead into the G version of the tune by playing a low f sharp.

Seamus Thompson’s #1, X:2

This is the tune in G major as played by the Bridge Ceili Band on their CD ‘Sparks on Flags’.
They play the tune once in F and then in G and play a low f sharp as the leading note into the key of G version.
They call the tune ‘Finbarr Dwyer’s’.
