Martin Wynne’s

This came from a Facebook post by Haley Richardson - Student of Brian Conway and Riverdance fiddler. In the comments she said it came from audio of a radio broadcast of Martin Wynne that Jerry O’Sullivan gave her. I’m still working on trying to get the audio. I have the MP3 of Haley and am happy to share it.

Based on the comments from the post I am very confident in naming this Martin Wynne’s (5?). I’m not sure I should call it 5 (he wrote others) but I’ve been on a Martin Wynne kick and there are only 5 reels and a Hop Jig that I’ve been able to confirm - the hop jig I suppose is more half confirmed (by Brian Conway).

Brian Conway texted me and said he believes that Martin Wynne wrote over 10 tunes but he was only willing to share four with him i.e. the only ones he thought were any good. The reel presented here was new to even Brian. Brian was a student and friend of MW’s.
