Not the tune recorded by Peg McGrath and Kathleen Smith.

There is a reel called “Callan Lassies” on the “Milestone at the Garden”. I think this is the same tune.

It reminds me of the Humours of Westport.

O’neill’s

A setting of this tune can be found in o’neill’s 1001 and is same as the recording
another nice tune lost in the sands of time.Sean Maguire composed a reel and called it the “Callan lassies”and it was recorded by belfast trio Mary Mulholland,Peg McGrath And Kathleen smyth (king) on a outlet recording called Cherish The Ladies

Callan v. Callan…

…as in Callan, Co. Kilkenny (Callainn) or Co. Donegal (Callán)
