There And Back

Here’s a great jig - but maybe not for flute - composed by mandolin player Ian Stevenson. Ian was a member of a band from Derry called “Quilty” who recorded an LP must have been early 1980s [ or sooner ? ].
Thanks to Aberdeen flute player Malcolm Reavell for transcribing this a good number of years ago - it’s been sitting in the sheet music for a while now, and is far too good a tune to be allowed to disappear.

Re: There And Back

Needs a bit of abc help here - after the 2nd part, plays first time through, how do I stop the playback going back to the last 2 bars of the first part, second time round ? Thanks in advance.

Re: There And Back

If you mark the start of the repeat with |: you’re good to go.
