Ohm’s Law

Fine 3-part jig composed by Billy McComiskey in 1985, when at technical school, according to the sleeve notes for "Trian II".
Thanks to flute player Malcolm Reavell for the transcription - along with many others - from a good few years back now.

Re: Ohm’s Law

My wife, brother-in-law, and I were just talking about this tune last night! Strange timing 🙂

Re: Ohm’s Law

Stranger still - the 3rd tune in the "Trian" set, which I’ll post tomorrow - is "Poor Timing", but that has another story behind it 🙂

Re: Ohm’s Law

My understanding is that much like learning the subject, writing the tune took quite some time and difficulty, whereas other tunes (like Poor Timing) came much more easily… I suppose there’s a pun in there about poor timing and things happening easily, but I’ll leave it for someone else to find.
