The Almond And The Olive

A beautiful haunting mazurka composed by Cliff Stapleton, of the band Angles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQ3v3sLTuAk

Personally I prefer the Topette live recording of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6Da0yNMJtU

Regarding the key, Chris plays it on hurdy gurdy in C phrygian, but this site doesn’t accept phrygian key signatures, or key signatures with 4 flats. So I transposed it into A phrygian (one flat), and had to select D minor to get the correct key signature. As written here it is NOT in D minor, it is in A phrygian! And as originally written, it was in C phrygian. I recommend using this site to transpose into other keys as required: https://sessionite.com/jens-wollschlagers-abc-transposer/
